A 67-year-old Franklin County man was arrested Friday after allegedly refusing to leave a Williamsburg residence as local and area tactical units served a high-risk warrant at a Williamsburg residence.In a statement, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred earlier Friday morning when members of the Ottawa Special Tactics and Rescue Team and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Special Emergency Response Team served a high-risk warrant in the 100 block of East Warren Street.
MANHATTAN – If you’re noticing multiple varieties of peonies growing in the garden, or ants crawling on the buds, Kansas State University horticulture expert Cynthia Domenghini said this is common and no cause for concern.“Peonies produce nectar on the outside of buds which attracts ants looking for an early season food source,” Domenghini said.
