Ottawa police officers arrested a man after he was found naked in the yard of a local home.Police said the incident occurred on May 21 after they received a report of a naked man in the yard of a home in the 1100 block of Eagle Pass Court.

Arrest warrants are being sought for the individuals believed to be involved in the May 22 theft of an ATM in Garnett, which caused a pursuit through Franklin County.Ottawa police said the incident occurred after they learned about the theft and the vehicle believed to be involved.

The Kansas Legislature recently passed legislation allowing the open enrollment of students living outside school district boundaries.The law requires students who do not live within the USD 290-Ottawa School District to submit an application to attend a district school.
