Falcons face tough regional
The West Franklin track teams are attempting to peak at the right time.They will face the toughest competition of the season Thursday in the 3A Halstead regional, which consists mostly of Wichita-area schools.“Despite seeking out meets with high level competition in the regular season, this will rank with the highest that we have seen all year,” West Franklin coach Ryan Hahn said.
Eagles optimistic on qualifying chances
The Wellsville track coaches are confident a good number of athletes will work their way to the state meet in Wichita.The boys and girls track teams will compete Friday in the 3A regional in Fredonia.Wellsville boys track coach Tim Savage said the Eagles will send a large contingent of athletes to the regional.
