ESU students on honor roll
Several local students were among 700 undergraduates named to the Emporia State University spring honor roll.They were: Abby Audiss, Lavender Bacon, Taylor Black, Hannah Carey, Abigail Kuntz, Kristen Shaffer, all of Ottawa; Russell White, Princeton; Brock Clifton, Richmond; Joseph Feuerborn, Richmond; Rachel Rodenmayer, Wellsville; Elizabeth Singer, Williamsburg.To qualify for the university honor roll, students earned a minimum 3.80 semester grade point average in at least 12 graded hours.
Fast on Avila Dean’s list
Gabriella Fast, of Ottawa, was named to the Avila University Spring 2023 Dean’s List.Fast was among more than 300 students named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List.To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Ottawa’s Bayley Clutter has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Winter 2024 President’s List.

Ottawa Arrows to play to strengths
The Ottawa Arrows, an American Legion AAA baseball team, will play an exciting brand of baseball.The Arrows displayed an aggressive style on offense, flashed a little leather, and belted the baseball during its opening tournament this past weekend.
