OTTAWA – Jason Beers and Jarrod Titus threw recently threw out the first pitch for the Ottawa University baseball and softball programs in honor of opening their doors to the Braves.

The national organization of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ affiliate, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) which serves Franklin County is a one-to-one volunteer mentoring organization for youth facing adversity. The goal of this program is to pair youth ranging in age from 5 to 17 years old enrolled in this program to be matched with an adult mentor 18 years or older to support the growth and positive impacts on the lives of the littles.
