Tristian Hodges, a 24 year-old resident of Franklin County, was arrested and taken into custody for three misdemeanor charges on March 12. Two days later a search was held at his residence in Ottawa and he was then charged with an additional five felony complaints.

I woke up this morning with that old Four Seasons’ song, “Walk Like a Man,” stuck in my head. I don’t know why. I don’t particularly like it. I haven’t heard it lately. And yet there it was banging around between my ears all morning like a marble in a tin can.
OTTAWA – Twelve area girls wrestled their way onto the Ottawa Herald All-Area Girls Wrestling Team, including five state placers.
OTTAWA – Nine area wrestlers, including three state placers and one state champion were named to the Ottawa Heralds All-Area Boys Wrestling Team.
The Franklin County Historical Society (FCHS) has been awarded the Heritage Trust Fund Grant, securing up to $100,000 to help repair the Old Depot Museum’s roof. This grant will cover the majority of the project’s costs, with the remainder funded by donations already received.
