160 years of the Franklin County Fair
In 1865, the Annual Franklin County Fair had it’s first year, and this year it’s turning 160 as the fairgrounds fill with 4-H competitors, supportive friends, family, travelers and community members.

1 day road construction
Franklin County sent a media release for a road rehab and repair project in Ottawa. It is set to start on July 11 and will complete the following day on the 12. The roads effected will be on 14th Street between Main and Cedar. This part of the road may be limited in use. The timeline of the project could be extended where permitted.
