Carter Kimball, a junior at Central Heights, was given the task of carrying the flag presented to the family of Richmond resident and Vietnam veteran Howard Lyle Brown during his September 2019 funeral service. Kimball was asked to carry it with him as the group made their way to Washington, D.C., and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
