Kenneth M. Goudreau

Kenneth M. Goudreau, 58 of Williamsburg, KS passed away unexpectedly Wednesday July 6th in his home. Ken was born March 28, 1964 in Lynn, Massachusetts the son of Donald and Jane Goudreau. Ken lived in Massachusetts until early teen years then moved to Kansas with his family, he grew up in Olathe area then moved to Texas for several years before returning to Kansas.

Ken was a member of the first Santa Fe Trail Plainsmen Muzzle Loading Firearm for several years. He also worked with cub scouts and other community clubs. Ken loved to be outdoors, fishing, and camping with the kids. He brought his family together with his cooking and BBQs. Ken was a joy to be around and loved people in general. He found the good in everyone.

Ken met and married Tena L. Gooding-Smith on May 18, 1996 in Ottawa, KS. She survives along with his mother Jane Achenbach, two brothers, Robert Goudreau of Texas and Brian (Lisa) Goudreau of Ottawa, two sons, Ryan (Amber) Smith and Justin Smith of Williamsburg, five (grandchildren) children Natasha Smith of Ottawa, Isaac Smith of Wichita, Hayley Smith of Ottawa, Paige Smith of Maryville, MO, and Maddison Smith of the home. Ken also has six other grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Goudreau.

We will have a celebration of life for all to say goodbye on August 6, 2022 at noon. This will be held at the Williamsburg Community Building.
