Harry Peckham remembers Christmases past when, as a young boy, he climbed into his father’s 1947 GMC pickup and headed into the woods to chop down a cedar tree.It’s not only his fondest Christmas memory, but the idea behind Memory Lane Christmas Tree Farm and light display.From its humble beginnings as a simple nativity scene in the front yard in 1992, owners Harry and Juanita Peckham expanded the display through the years to contain more than 60 lighted displays scattered along a half-mile path through the tree farm.In its 25th year, Harry said the farm has become a Christmas tradition for local and area families who take in the light display each year.
