Betty Cravens, 97, of Lenexa KS passed to her heavenly home on October 3, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2020, at Fairview Cemetery, 5700 Rd, Cherryvale KS followed by a celebration of life reception at ABJ’s Cruiser Café, 215 N Liberty, Cherryvale.

Betty is a former resident of Ottawa, KS and Cherryvale, KS. Betty suffered a neck injury from a fall on September 13 from which she was unable to recover. Betty was born November 20, 1924, in Parsons KS to Lee and Beatrice Goodnight. She is the last of eight siblings to survive. In 1946 she married Warren Kasper, and they had four children: Karen, Douglas, Kathryn, and Russell. Warren preceded her in death in 1956 and Russell in 2005.

In 1976 she married Larry Cravens and became stepmother to his two sons, Larry Gene, and Tommy. Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include three children, two stepsons, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
