Photo-Caption:The Special Olympic Torch passed through downtown Ottawa en route to the Kansas Special Olympics in Wichita. The Ottawa Police Department with assistance from local Special Olympians carried the torch through Ottawa to Emporia. The run is part of a 1,600-mile journey for the Flame of Hope across Kansas as part of ceremonial 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas.
