If it sounds too good to be true

At my house, classic TV is a given. My 93-yearold father-in-law enjoys watching reruns of westerns, Perry Mason, Andy Griffith, and Gomer Pyle. With these old favorites come commercials targeting an aging population: Medicare Advantage plans, reverse mortgages, and "miracle solutions" for neuropathy, with free consultations for the first 250 people who call!

Man’s sudden decrease in libido needs to be looked into more

DEAR DR. ROACH: I am a 64-year-old male in reasonably good health. I'm a moderate drinker, and I lift weights every other day. I have always been sexually active, as I've been married for 23 years to a beautiful woman I love, who is 19 years younger than me. Pizza Time, Sears earn this week’s honors

Congratulations to John Duncan for being chosen to receive Donuts for Do-Gooders this week! John is the owner of Pizza Time and unfortunately wasn’t in to receive his donuts, but accepting on his behalf are (front row, from left) Arlie and Gabby and (back row) Steven, Matt, Edward and Lane. Affectionately known as “Duke” by his employees, – hence the sign in the background – John has been in business since 1984. According to Arlie, who nominated him, John is “a giver, and supports the community more than people know” and is a “behindthe- scenes kind of guy.” Arlie went on to say John supports area schools with donations as well as hosts fundraising nights at the restaurant. He is also an avid supporter of our veterans and boys in blue. On occasion, you can see John in the restaurant in the evenings, so drop on by to say, hi, congratulations and thank you. Pizza Time is located at 208 S. Main St. and is open from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. seven days a week.
