On Wednesday, the Kansas Department Health and Environment (KDHE) issued an order rescinding the water boil advisory for Wellsville. Current testing shows no contamination.
Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m., the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) notified the state that the public water system in Wellsville is not safe to use for cooking or drinking and must be boiled before use.
