A 14-year-old Ottawa boy has been charged in Franklin County District Court after he was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault Wednesday morning following an investigation into allegations he possessed a firearm while on the Ottawa High School campus Tuesday after school hours. Franklin County Attorney Brandon Jones said Friday the teen was charged with aggravated assault and criminal carrying of a weapon.
