WSU announces spring honor roll

Local Wichita State University students were among the 3,178 students who were on the WSU Dean’s Honor Roll for spring 2022. To be included on the honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Moran tours AdventHealth in Ottawa

U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran visited to the AdventHealth facility in Ottawa Tuesday. “This week, I had the opportunity to visit AdventHealth in Ottawa for a tour of their facility,” Moran wrote in a news release. “During the visit, I saw firsthand the efforts of the staff at AdventHealth to provide quality health and wellness care for the surrounding community. This center offers a wide variety of services for nearby Kansans, including senior and children’s care, diabetes treatment, a full spectrum of cancer care, emergency and urgent care services, occupational medicine, neurology and neurosurgical care, orthopedic services and lab testing. Wichita State University shares results of Franklin Co. Labor Study sponsored by FCDC

The Franklin County Development Council (FCDC) partnered with Wichita State University’s W. Frank Barton School of business to conduct a labor study for Franklin County and surrounding areas. Findings from the study, which was the first of its kind conducted in the area since 2015, were published on June 24.
