OTTAWA- Resident of Ottawa, Mary Allen, is the owner and operator of her own photography business. She specializes in adoption photos for the local animal shelter, Prairie Paws, as well as works in commercial advertising for real estate and insurance for example. Additionally, she shares the essence of Ottawa’s lifestyle on her Instagram page, @ottawaks_living. Through her lens, Allen captures the heart of the city, from its new and historic buildings and parks, to its vibrant community events and features.

Opportunity to Support Youth in Franklin County

The national organization of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ affiliate, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) which serves Franklin County is a one-to-one volunteer mentoring organization for youth facing adversity. The goal of this program is to pair youth ranging in age from 5 to 17 years old enrolled in this program to be matched with an adult mentor 18 years or older to support the growth and positive impacts on the lives of the littles.
