Gayl WinePark Shepard

Gayl WinePark Shepard, 79, of Williamsburg, KS passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Advent Health Ottawa. He was born February 21 1943, in Horton, KS the son of WinePark Shepard and Beulah (Foley) Shepard. Gayl grew up most of his childhood in Kansas until high school when his father moved the family to New Mexico for work. He graduated from Los Alamos High School with the class of 1961. He then went on to Kansas State University graduating in 1965 with a dual major in Animal Husbandry and Agronomy.

with family present at the age of 81. Chester and Dorothy Mills welcomed Karen into this world on December 4, 1940 in Winfield, While attending Sedan High School, Karen met the love of her life, Richard Wells.

Connie Lou Norton (Ames)

Connie Lou Norton (Ames) passed on July 26, 2022 in her home of Grove, Oklahoma She was born on November 26, 1936 in Ottawa, Kansas to Louis Ames and Hazel Brown. Connie met and fell in love with Glenn Norton they married on August 26, 1956 and had three sons - Steve, Mark, and Mike. Connie was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, and a member of Ottawa Kansas VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was a nurse by trade, and she graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma in Tonkawa. The one thing Connie absolutely loved doing was spending time with her grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. On the rare occasion Connie had time for herself she loved to cook, be in her garden, and travel. Connie loved to travel to Grove, her and her husband decided to move there later in life.

Clifford “Dean “ Royse, 94, of Ottawa, KS passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Neuvant House, Lawrence, KS, surrounded by his wife, Mary, and their children. He was born November 23, 1927 in Parsons, KS, the son of Edward Epperson Royse and Grace Mae (Barrick) Royse.

Kenneth M. Goudreau

Kenneth M. Goudreau, 58 of Williamsburg, KS passed away unexpectedly Wednesday July 6th in his home. Ken was born March 28, 1964 in Lynn, Massachusetts the son of Donald and Jane Goudreau. Ken lived in Massachusetts until early teen years then moved to Kansas with his family, he grew up in Olathe area then moved to Texas for several years before returning to Kansas.
