Basketball coaches use preseason tournaments to find out what kind of team they may have and see different teams than they are used to playing. Central Heights boys basketball coach Tyler Oestreicher is a big fan of those tournaments.
The Ottawa University women’s volleyball team is receiving national and regional honors. Three members of the team were selected to the 2022 AVCA NAIA All-Region Teams. The trio landed on the AVCA NAIA West Central Teams.
Ottawa University men’s sophomore forward Bence Molnar had one of the best individual seasons in program history. He was rewarded for it by being selected as an NAIA All-American.
