Ottawa University, which sports one of the top dance teams in the nation, will be under the direction of a new coach in 2022-23 school year. Shelby West was hired as the program’s new head dance coach.

Douglas returns to OU office
Michael Douglas has been a part of the fabric of Ottawa University athletics in some way since 2016 when he became a student after graduating from Wellsville. Douglas spent four years (2016-2020) as Director of Basketball Operations for the men’s team.

OU softball promotes Deutsch

Ottawa University softball team did not have to look far to replace assistant coach Sam (Shaffer) Mendez. Maile Deutsch was already on staff as a volunteer assistant. She already established relationships within the program.
