The 2022 Ottawa University softball team has a flair for the dramatic. The Lady Braves were 9-5 in one-run games and won several of those in walk-off fashion.
The Ottawa University men’s lacrosse team had six players receive KCAC all-conference honors for their play this season.Brandon DeMarco, Jake Noernberg, Jacob Vincentini, Luke Spells, Travis Alvis, and Joshua Curving were selected to the team s by the men’s lacrosse head coaches.De-Marco received first team All-KCAC honors. Noemberg, Vincentini and Spells were on the second team. Alvis and Curving were honorable mention. St. Ambrose took the regular-season conference title behind an undefeated mark in KCAC play (10-0). Jon Paul, the Fighting Bees’ head coach, was named the KCAC Men’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year by his peers.
Three Ottawa University women’s lacrosse players were selected to the KCAC all-conference teams in a vote by the coaches. Quinn Crandall and Analysa Cloninger were named All-KCAC first team and Ashley Santillan earned All-KCAC second team Honors.
The No. 13 Ottawa University baseball team is one win or a McPherson loss from securing an outright KCAC championship.

The Ottawa University women’s golf concluded 2022 season by finishing seventh at the KCAC Championships in Garden City. Ottawa shot a combined score of 1,104 in three rounds, round one score of 377, round two of 360 and round three of 367.
The Ottawa University women’s bowling placed eighth overall at USBC Sectionals in Dallas, Texas. Ottawa bowled in 64 baker games at Sectionals and finished with an overall pin total of 11,382.
The Ottawa High School boys golf team is looking to finish the season strong with the postseason just around the corner. The Cyclones had their best performance of the season with its win in the 12-All four Cyclone team players shot their season personal-best to post a team score of 342, six strokes ahead of second-place finisher Tonganoxie’s 348.
