The Ottawa University softball is within striking distance of winning its sixth KCAC title in program history. The Lady Braves moved into the KCAC lead Saturday with a sweep of Bethel (12-2 and-0) coupled with Kansas Wesleyan’s sweep of Oklahoma Wesleyan.
OU women’s tennis wins again
The Ottawa University women’s tennis team is on a roll. The Lady Braves won their eighth straight match with a 5-2 victory over Kansas Wesleyan University at The Pines on Saturday morning. Ottawa took the doubles point 2-1 and had a record of 4-2 in singles against the Coyotes.Priyanshi Sharma and Yana Goranova won their No. 1 doubles match 6-2 over Karley Benson and Zofia Selwesiuk. Julia Wiense and Isidora Hrnjak took a 6-2 victory in No. 2 doubles over Makenzie Archer and Savannah Noel.
