The West Franklin volleyball program has built a good reputation among the district patrons.
Building a program at the high school level can sometimes be frustrating, but also rewarding.West Franklin girls golf coach Daniel Waggoner has felt both of those emotions as he begins his third season as coach.The interest in the sport is gaining steam.“I had three girls my first year, eight last year and this year expecting around 15,” Waggoner said.
The prospects of qualifying for state as team for the Ottawa girls golf team may be pretty good.The Cyclones return four golfers from last season’s team that just missed qualifying for state.
