A perfect partnership: Gardner women take a chance, find success in operating Wellsville boutiques
Michelle Douglas Gressel is surrounded by the things she loves.
It’s the reason why she does what she does.
Gressel owns The Torn Edge, a funky space featuring custom art, apparel and other uncommonly unique items while her business partner, Bert Molenda, owns Olivia’s, a boutique specializing in upcycled clothing and accessories. Both are located in the former Crist & Son Foods grocery store at 517 Main St. in Wellsville.
It’s a blustery Saturday and despite a downtown crowd, there’s an afternoon lull, allowing Gressel and Molenda to talk about their partnership and how taking a chance led them here.
