Debra R. Clonts

Debra R. Clonts, 67, of Bourbon, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022 surrounded by her family at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.

Debra Renee Clonts was born November 30, 1954 in Evansville, IN to Ivan and Wanda (Perigo) Frohbieter. She grew up and attended school at North West High School in House Springs, until later in life, furthering her education and obtaining an associate’s degree at East Central College.

Debra was united in marriage to her late husband, Kenneth Clonts on July 5, 1975 at Bem Church in Bem, Missouri. To this union, three children were born: Tommy, Kevin and Jennifer. Together they continued to raise their children in Sullivan while Debra worked various local jobs.

Debbie later went to work for her parents as a horticulturalist, raising various flowers, plants and vegetables. She had a wealth of knowledge when it came to her passion of gardening. Debbie recently retired in 2016.

Outside of working, Debbie was a devout Christian and a faithful member to Sullivan Christian Church. Debbie carried a servant’s heart. Whether that was serving in her church as a Sunday School teacher, taking in families that are in need or serving meals on wheels, she was always willing to love people just as Jesus does. She will be dearly missed and very lovingly remembered.

Debbie is survived by her son, Tommy Clonts of Sullivan, MO; three grandchildren: Brandon, Holly and Sean Clonts; siblings: Mike Frohbieter and wife Elizabeth of Fenton, MO, Scott Frohbieter and wife Susie of Desoto, MO, and Tammy Wattler and husband John of Bourbon, MO; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Clonts; two children, Kevin and Jennifer Clonts; her parents, Ivan & Wanda; and a sister, Becky Harris.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Sullivan Christian Church with Pastor John Blackmore officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cuba, MO.

Visitation will be 9 11 AM, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Sullivan Christian Church.
