Quenemo – Diane Jean Berry, 61, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on January 27, 1961, the daughter of Daniel and Erma (Redenbaugh) Sipp, Sr. in Topeka, Kansas.

Diane had lived in Pomona, Lawrence and Ottawa, but had lived in Quenemo most of her life. She had worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at several nursing homes in Osage and Franklin Counties. She was a cancer survivor, having beat back breast cancer and ovarian cancer. On July 27, 1982, Diane was married to Patrick Berry in Ottawa, Kansas. They later divorced. To this union three children were born, Shannon, James and Kenneth.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Erma.

Diane is survived by her three children, Shannon Lynn Korrea-Nelson of Kansas City, Missouri, James Matthew Berry and Kennth Ray Berry, both of Quenemo; her two sisters, Barbara McCurdy and Nancy Anderson, both of Quenemo and her brother, Daniel Sipp, Jr. of Michigan; and her granddaughter, Aniqua Taizee Nelson.

Funeral services for Diane will be at 12:00pm on Monday, January 9 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
