LeRoy “Corkey” Price passed away peacefully Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas. 

Corkey Price, a faithful follower of Christ, a salesman, entrepreneur, farmer, inventor,musician, AND fisherman extraordinaire will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting this husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, second great grandfather and faithful friend.

Survivors include his three daughters, Janice Price Tucker (spouse Rob Tucker), Camdenton MO; Donna Price Burkdoll(spouse Trent Burkdoll), Rantoul KS; Mary Ann Price, Rantoul KS; eight grandchildren:  Micki Tucker Bainter, Justin Altic(Alisha), Amanda Wadkins (Justin), Elizabeth Tucker, Jeremy Altic (Laura), Andrew Nitcher (Jill), Robbie Tucker (Lauren), Zachary Zentz; fifteen great grandchildren. Jean Mardis and his three step children, Lori Bynum (Glenn), Eric Mardis(Rebecca), Chuck Mardis (Cathy). PLUS many more great and second great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Rader Price,parents, William “Bill” Price and Ruth Ila Gall Price, brother, Raymond Price, and sister, Rowene Cooper.

Visitation at First Baptist Church Ottawa KS, Friday June 3, 2022, 12:00 – 1:30 PM

and Funeral Service 2:00 PM. 

Interment will be held at the Wellsville Cemetary.
