Congratulations to Ottawa Veterinary Hospital for being our Donuts for Do-Gooders Business of the Week! Established in 1958 by J.C. "Doc" Smith, the hospital is now owned by his son, Dr. Ed. His son, Dr. Adam, represents the third generation and also currently works at the hospital. They also have four additional veterinarians (Drs. Brianna, Garner, Ali and Lisa) and 11 support staff. Pictured are (from left) Courtney, Dr. Ali, Dr. Lisa, Colleen, Ashley and Taylor. They care for all animals, large and small, and all ages. Services include boarding, general care, dental care and surgery, they sell prescription pet food and have an online pharmacy. Hours are Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m. - noon and 1-5 p.m. and Saturday, 8-noon. Also available 24/7 is their new ER triage service, Pet Nurse. Congratulations and thank you for providing such great care to our animals for more than 60 years!
